Andy Nicholl arrived with the new stools. We had been waiting to see the prototypes for the new Wood stool making workshop so that we could share them on the web.They are elegant and comfortable.
Andy had devised designs that can be made using simple hand tools from 2 broomsticks and a plank. We have gathered vintage tools to make them in the workshop as well as the occasional modern drill.

Andy will bring his expertise and gentle teaching style to a four week ‘Saturday morning workshop’. The class will be small and open to all levels. Everybody will take home a unique item of furniture and experience using lots of traditional skills.
