£10Not quite wanting to commit to a long term of upholstery? Put off most conventional classes by the thought of lugging a chair across London in the rush hour? Join our boutique Upholstery Club, every Tuesday, from 6.30pm to 9pm.

Polly Waite, the founder of  Polliander – Upcycled vintage furniture will be your guide as we unpick and revive sad pieces of furniture from the Victorian through to Mid century modern eras.  Polly has made a successful leap from publishing to working with her hands so if you are dreaming of a new life, come and ask Polly about her journey.

Polly will demonstrate and instruct you to work on several pieces of fabulous furniture here at the Centre. We are starting with an exploded office chair, a mid century modern sofa bed, a victorian sofa and a Bergere chair. Come and unpick, tack, web, stretch, cover and pin them into their revived glory.

This is an ideal way to dive deeper into this fabulous craft if you have already taken our Intro to Upholstery or Make a Fabric Footstool or even if you would just like to wet your feet before committing your precious time to a longer workshop.

Beginners welcome. All tools and materials included.
